WHY WE BURN SCHOOLS

Image result for arson

Within less than a month, we have witnessed over sixty schools in flames without any injury. As at the time of putting this article together, it seems we are on the count by the hour. its sad that we are still counting. What is really happening with all this debate, drama and politicking? Here is an invaluable perspective...

We burn schools because we have been despised and neglected. Our world belongs to our parents who think they can live our life, yet don't know our shoe size. They have our best of interest at heart and can blame each other to our defense. In this process they make things complicated and wound us terribly. Can't we solve our problems?

We torch schools because we lack a strong purpose In life. They tell us we are the leaders of tomorrow, coz they think Influence is the monopoly of the older generation. They call their leaders "BABA or MKUBWA".  We know we will never be like them,  at best we don't know how it feels like to own billions and fly in chop-as . our grades can't guarantee such a life. We burn schools because we have despaired. Can't compete and win over our classmates nor our parents. Alfred North Whitehead ,a renown philosopher  said" we can't be moral if we don't believe we can be great."

We burn schools because it is our time. Haven't we been taught life is too short to number our days?  Don't you think you can implement a novelist creativity in implementing strategy? Most of you guys are trying to take our time by making us busy. Hey give us a break, we all need time in our own hands. BTW is sad that  we will still waste our time because we believe it's still your time to have a say. This doesn't need reform, it needs a paradigm shift in thinking. A new birth at best.

We burn schools because we are stressed and heavy laden. Evey one wants control and compliance. We have a new constitution is our theme song. Just like some religious folks have Bibles under their roofs.
We really can't see the Canaan we are forever promised.

Our bitterness ain't from the fruit of hard work. No, it's from the frustration of knowing You are working for an insatiable boss. At the end he will kick you out of his company and your payslip won't help you. But, how that paper is different from the paper  the boss esteems. Let's stop hypocrisy.

We burn schools because we are not responsible for burning schools. Irony? No. We have no power to be responsible.  It is stolen from us because of  our ignorance. We can play victims because our rescuers believe we are too weak and face problems. The paradox is we got more energy and curiosity in our systems than they do. I know they won't accept this, but that's their own problem for now. Their fear is their defense. How strong can it be?

As the drama continues on one hand, and our government struggle continues to prepare for the next election. Let all over 18 beware... We are the people. Responsibility shapes a man. Any education reform will ride on what we do with such statements. Don't despise us when you need us to give you a preserved generation.

The struggle continues... http://fongere.blogspot.com/
