What's wrong with Matatu preachers?

I always give some benefit of doubt to anyone who comes in the name of the Lord.

I shut up and listen.

But this preacher Leo exposed the essence of Matatu preaching.

The guy, had an unbuttoned shirt! The Otile brown style. Actually, I wouldn't have judged, were not for some old lady who sat next to me.

'we ushai ona wapi mtumishi wa mungu hajafunga shati?' watumishi wa mungu hukua na neema haiwezi ruhusu mtu kuonyesha kifua."

I figured the lady made some sense. What do you think think?

Modesty matters.

After preaching, the guy plainly asked... 'Naomba Mnibariki... Manze ni kunoma'

Well, he collected some coins. Speaking some tongues in appreciation.

There and then the preacher man received his reward.

Do you this there was any generosity in his sharing the gospel?

Has the church ever rewarded your generous labor in some way? Like you have this throphy in your house because you served God.... Or even some car?

Is expecting support from the church a realistic expectation?

Am interested... Let me know.

  1. Well here is my opinion, THE LORD REWARDS, those who labour in Him, they labour not in vain.

Well who ever labours for the church (God's family), may be should have this words behind their thoughts, so that no expectation of being rewarded by people..would spring out of his heart. And also not deduct the thoughts that the owner of the church (the Lord)can bless from His own(church).

    Expectations are realistic 😊
